Discover What's New With The 2025 Chevy Equinox
Car buyers know that choosing the right vehicle is all about finding the perfect balance between design, technology, and value. The 2025 Chevrolet Equinox aims to hit all these marks with its latest redesign. With a bold new grille and streamlined headlights, the Equinox's refreshed exterior gives it a more aggressive presence on the road. These changes aren't just about aesthetics - they reflect a shift towards a more contemporary and sophisticated design philosophy. Chevrolet has also introduced the new ACTIV trim, which adds a rugged flair to the Equinox lineup. This trim is perfect for drivers who crave adventure and want their vehicle to reflect their outdoor lifestyle. The ACTIV trim features a distinctive front-end design and is available with a stylish two-tone finish that includes a white roof. With these enhancements, the Equinox ACTIV is ready to take on any environment while looking good doing it.
One of the standout features of the 2025 Equinox is its advanced technology suite, which aims to enhance the driving experience. At the heart of this tech suite is the new touchscreen display, which offers standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. This means passengers can seamlessly connect their smartphones to the infotainment system, enabling easy access to navigation, music, and apps without the hassle of cords.
For families and safety-conscious drivers, Chevy's Safety Assist package is a major selling point. This robust suite of driver aids includes essentials like forward collision alert, automatic emergency braking, and pedestrian detection. It's designed to keep you and your loved ones safe, whether you're navigating busy city streets or cruising on the highway.
The Equinox also offers additional features like side bicyclist alert, lane-departure warning, and adaptive cruise control. These tools help create a safer driving environment by increasing awareness and reducing the likelihood of accidents. Optional extras such as reverse automatic braking and a surround-view camera further enhance safety, particularly in challenging parking situations.
For those intrigued by what the Equinox offers, the next step is simple. Visit Bayside Chevrolet today, to see the new Equinox in person and experience what this updated model brings to the table. Whether you're a first-time SUV buyer or looking to upgrade, the Equinox could very well be the perfect fit for your lifestyle!

Chevrolet Donates to Military Charities
In its 19-year collaboration with Major League Baseball and the All-Star Game Presented by Mastercard, Chevrolet has consistently shown its unwavering support for those who serve our country. Last week, the company added to its legacy by donating two of its all-new 2024 Trax RS vehicles to military charities - Operation Homefront and Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS). These organizations identified deserving military personnel to receive the vehicles, and we are excited to share their heartwarming stories. One recipient of the 2024 Trax RS is Abreante Jones, an Army veteran who served for seven years before being honorably discharged. Jones is now a paralegal and a single mother to her 8-year-old son. She lost her previous vehicle due to engine failure and no longer has a reliable form of transportation, which can make it difficult for her to attend her son's activities and travel for work. The practicality and standard technology features of the 2024 Trax RS will now allow Jones to travel with ease. She can take her son to his activities without any worries and travel to her workplace confidently. Chevrolet's gesture has made a significant positive impact on Jones's life, which will undoubtedly benefit her son and her professional career. Chevrolet continues to be a shining example of how businesses can contribute positively to their communities. They have consistently supported military personnel throughout their partnership with Major League Baseball and the All-Star Game Presented by Mastercard.Â

Looking Into The Future: Silverado
The 2024 Chevy Silverado HD ZR2 is an off-road pickup that offers a number of features, including Multimatic DSSV dampers, 35-inch tires, an AEV-modified Bison trim, and the option to equip it with a gas or diesel engine. It has been designed with newly redesigned upper and lower control arms up front for desert duty and upgraded Multimatic DSSV dampers to support the three-quarter-ton truck at high speeds. It comes standard with a 6.6-liter gas V8 that makes 401 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque, but customers can purchase the more premium 6.6-liter Duramax diesel option with 470 hp and 975 pound-feet. Both engines are paired with the 10-speed Allison automatic and when spec'd with the Duramax, the Silverado HD ZR2 can tow a max of 18,500 pounds for conventional trailers, or 18,100 pounds for fifth wheel or gooseneck trailers. A rear electronic locker assists with traction on loose surfaces along with 35 inch Goodyear Wrangler mud terrains which give it 11.8 inches of ground.Â

MONEY MATTERS
Outfitted in the way our test vehicle was, our biggest complaint with the Traverse lies in the price. Three-row SUVs and CUVs span the range of roughly $30k to deep in the triple digits, and the Traverse seen here costs $50,235. We always say on Off the Road Again that $50k is the new $30k, but at this price, a variety of options feel more special and more premium while offering equal usability. The Kia Telluride comes to mind, as does a low-option Jeep Grand Cherokee L.

Joel Stocksdale | July 19, 2021 | Autoblog
We've known for a while now that Chevy has been working on a hot C8 Corvette, but now we have the first confirmation of that model. It's the 2023 Chevy Corvette Z06, continuing the name introduced on the C5 generation. But perhaps more importantly, we get to hear it, too.
